Dear Parents and Students of U. S. History,
I would like to welcome you to this site on American History!
The blog is designed for 8th grade Middle School students in Texas who are studying American History to 1877.
Things will be added, periodically, to parallel our classroom studies. These additions may include help with homework, fun links, research resources and announcements of classroom and school events.
One thing that I stress in my classroom is that "history is about people". So there will be times that I will post pictures of events that are of "historic merit" in the lives of our students such as sporting events and awards.
I hope that you find this blog both educational and entertaining.
